About Us

Handmade in Spokane, Washington, since 2017

Amadiz is a family studio of artist ball-jointed dolls. Every doll is cast from resin by hand, and we make their eyes, wigs and clothes ourselves.

How We Make Our Dolls

Every Amadiz doll is handmade, from the original design to resin casting; we never use factory production. Each doll is cast for its collector in durable, non-toxic urethane resin with a smooth, velvety matte finish, so no two are exactly alike. Face-ups and body blushing are painted by hand, without stencils.

What We Value

  • CUSTOMERS - Every step should feel easy and comfortable for you.

  • UNIQUENESS - Handwork and an individual approach to every doll.

  • ART - We make each piece with love, to bring more beauty into the world.

  • QUALITY - We are proud of what we make.

  • GROWTH - Every day we look for ways to do our work better.

Our Story

This brand is for those who prefer uniqueness to the mainstream

Amadiz grew out of a family hobby. It is the studio of Kira and Andie, who have been making ball-jointed dolls since 2017.

How It Started

When Kira and Andie bought their first ball-jointed doll, they could not find the clothes and accessories they imagined for it, so they began making everything by hand: wigs and outfits first, then the dolls themselves.

Collectors who saw their work in BJD communities soon asked for pieces for their own dolls, and the hobby slowly became a studio. Today we live and work in Spokane, Washington. We cast every doll from resin in our own home studio, and we make their eyes, wigs and clothes ourselves too.

We design and make three doll lines, Lost Flowers (36 cm), Libertine (44 cm) and Angels (61 cm), along with wigs, heads, parts and jewelry.

Every Detail by Hand

Making beautiful things in doll scale is slow, many-step work. Over the years we have learned how to make wigs and outfits that stay beautiful for a long time, and we choose fine materials such as angora and alpaca, because only the result matters.

We do everything from the heart, and we want the doll hobby to become more and more beautiful.
